Technogym Check Up is a digital body analysis that, within minutes, assesses posture, body composition (the balance of muscle mass, fat and water), joint mobility and cognitive-motor indicators. It is there to give you a starting point, not a diagnosis: the trainers at Impress Fitness in Tashkent use it to build a training plan instead of a “universal” programme.
In short
- Check Up is the first step at Impress Fitness: assessment first, then a plan.
- It measures four groups of indicators: posture, body composition, joint mobility and cognitive-motor indicators.
- Results appear on screen in a clear form, and you sign in through the Technogym app.
- It is a tool for training, not a medical examination: it makes no diagnoses and does not replace a doctor.
Why start with a body analysis
Most people begin training by feel: they choose a format on a friend’s recommendation or because it is popular. Sometimes that works, but more often the load turns out wrong: too light, too abrupt, or aimed at something other than what is really needed.
A body analysis answers the question of where you in particular should begin. It shows where you are now, and that brings three practical benefits.
- A safe start. The trainer sees the specifics of your posture and mobility and chooses exercises that suit you.
- Meaningful goals. Instead of a vague “I want to tone up”, there are concrete reference points: what to strengthen, what to develop, what to watch.
- Motivation. When the starting point is clear, it is easier to notice change. You are not training blindly: you see how your body and state evolve.
What Technogym Check Up measures
Posture
Posture is the position of the head, shoulders, spine and pelvis relative to one another, at rest and in motion. Assessing it helps spot habitual imbalances, such as one shoulder sitting higher than the other or the torso shifting forward. This matters most for people who spend long hours at a computer or behind the wheel. The good news is that posture can be developed through exercise, and this kind of data helps you choose a format, such as Healthy Back or Pilates.
Body composition
Body composition shows the balance of muscle mass, fat and water. It tells you more than weight on a scale: two people of the same weight can look and feel quite different. When you start training, weight may change slowly while body composition is already improving. That is why, for judging progress, body composition is more valuable than a single number on the scale.
Joint mobility
Mobility is the range of movement in the joints, meaning how freely you can, for example, raise your arms, bend, squat or turn. Restricted mobility affects exercise technique and how you feel in daily life. This data suggests where stretching, Pilates or practices such as Stretch Relax can help.
Cognitive-motor indicators
These indicators link the work of the nervous system with movement. Exactly which parameters are assessed and how to read them will be explained to you at the club. What matters here is that this is one more side of the picture, helping to choose a format and a pace.
How to read your results
You do not have to “pass” the results like an exam. There is a simpler way to read them.
- Look at the trend, not the grade. A single number says less than change over time.
- Look for strengths. The analysis shows not only what to improve but also what you already do well.
- Pick one or two priorities. Do not try to fix everything at once: the trainer will help decide where to begin.
- Do not compare yourself with others. Norms are approximate, while your body, life and goals are unique.
- Ask questions. If an indicator is unclear, ask the trainer to explain it in plain language.
How a plan is built from the analysis
At Impress Fitness the results become your personal digital passport, and the trainers build a safe plan from it. The plan is organised around three directions.
- Strength and tone. The gym with Technogym equipment designed with women’s anatomy in mind, the Body Sculpt format, or Gym Hour circuit training.
- Health and posture. Healthy Back, Pilates Mat and Pilates Reformer in mini-groups.
- Harmony and energy. Hatha Yoga, Power Yoga, Stretch Relax and Arabic Dance.
These directions can be combined. For example, if Check Up shows limited mobility and a tired back, a trainer might suggest starting with Pilates or Healthy Back and adding strength training later. The choice is always discussed: it is a suggestion, not an order. If you find it hard to pick a format, the article on how to choose between yoga and stretching may help.
What Check Up is not
It is important to be clear about the limits of the method.
- It is not a medical diagnostic. The results are used to build a training plan and do not replace a doctor’s consultation.
- It does not diagnose and does not treat. If you are troubled by pain, dizziness or other symptoms, see a doctor.
- It does not promise results within a set time. The numbers show a starting point and reference marks; they do not guarantee change.
- It does not replace a trainer: it is a person who interprets the data and chooses the load.
If you have a medical condition or an injury, or are pregnant, consult a doctor before training and tell your trainer.

Questions and answers
How long does the analysis take?
Check Up gives a detailed picture within minutes. For the length of the whole appointment, including the conversation with your trainer, it is best to check with the club.
Do I need to prepare?
We do not state exact requirements here: comfortable clothes and a calm frame of mind are usually enough. If you have questions, ask on the club’s Instagram.
Does Check Up replace a visit to the doctor?
No. It is a tool for training. The results help build a plan, but they do not replace a doctor’s advice and are not a diagnosis.
Can I take the analysis if I have never trained?
Yes, and especially then. For beginners, the analysis gives a clear starting point and helps them begin safely.
What do I get in the end?
A personal digital passport of your current state and a training plan built by the Impress Fitness trainers.
Be Impressive.
